Box Card

Hi just dropping in to show a Box Card that I made recently.  These have been very popular around the internet and Pinterest, so thought I would like to have a go and make one too!  There are lots of different size box card tutorials out there but this one took my fancy as it folds to fit a standard envelope.  This suited my needs as the card was to be posted.

To embellish my card I have used items that are available to purchase/order from Bizzy Becs store here.

Poppystamp die - Vintage Bird Cage and Nested Bird, flowers ribbon and sentitment.  The patterned paper and cardstock are from my own stash.

Hope you are all having a fabulous week, sadly for me holidays are over and its back to school tomorrow for a new school term.

Until next time, happy crafting.

Christmas In July

Wow!  I am struggling to see where this year has gone, it is flying by so fast, a bit scary actually.  Winter weather looks like it has arrived and the soup pot has come out of hibernation, perfect for these cold wet nights we have been experiencing.

It is also school holidays here so am going to be enjoying doing some catch up crafting, sadly have one or two unfinished projects to catch up on.

Being July also means it is also a new challenge at Bizzy Becs.  This months theme is "Anything Goes" and we have a fabulous prize for the winner a gorgeous new stamp in store "Shelby" by CC Designs, kindly donated by Bec.

For my card I decided to make a Christmas Card using a very yummy die from Memory Box  called "Glowing Candles". This is then nestled onto two Spellbinder cut outs "Decorative Labels 8 and  Labels 8)

The dies and blossoms used together with the digital sentiment are all available via Bizzy Becs online store here.

Also for the month of July there is a 20% off selected items in store, so make sure you check them out and lots of new goodies available for preorder.

Don't forget to drop by and check out the design teams inspiration this month, and then join us for this months challenge with your creations.

Happy crafting

Birthday Wishes

Hi hope everyone is surviving this cold weather we have been having, absolutely freezing and there is still more to come.

Today I would like to share with you a card I made for friends birthday this week.   I have used some light molding paste through a feather stencil from crafters workshop  for the background and then layered die cuts of "The Feather Set" by Impression Obsession which you can purchase from Bizzy Becs, here.  The flowers are also from Bizzy Becs here  and the ribbon is from my own stash.

The sentiment is a freebie which is available from Bizzy Becs store blog together with lots of others.  (just remember if you use them please don't claim them as your own - give credit to Bec)

Don't forget there is still time to join us for this months "Anything Goes" challenge and also pop on over to the store  and check out the Stock-take sale.

Thanks for dropping by, happy crafting

Thinking of You

Its time for a new challenge over at Bizzy Becs.   We are going with "Anything Goes" again this month and the winner of this months challenge will win an Impression Obsession Die,  kindly donated by Bizzy Bec's online store.

For my card this month I have used Distress Inks to colour my stamped image and then fussy cut the stamped image out and layered them onto my card.

The distress inks used to colour the daffodils are Shabby Shutters, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade and Wild Honey and applied with a waterbrush.  The stamp is called "Garden Greetings" and is by Dark Room Door and include the greeting used plus a couple more.  The patterned paper is from a 6x6 paper pack, all of these and lots more are available to purchase from Bizzy Becs online store.

Pearls, ribbon and cardstocks are from my own stash.

Thanks for dropping by, happy crafting.

Seraphina Heart

Hi today I would like to share with you a card I made for my hubby as we recently celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary.

I just love using my  Memory Box dies, and for my card I have used  "Seraphina Heart"  and  "Cupid Heart".  These dies and a whole lot more are available to order via the Bizzy Becs online store here.

The number 25 is a blank chipboard that I have had for that long that the sticky back is no longer sticky.  I have painted it with silver paint and when dry used Treasure Gold in silver to enhance the colour.  The bling is also Kaiser.

There is also still time to join us for this months challenge "Anything Goes".

Bye for now and happy crafting

Butterfly

Hi everyone.

I hope that you had a wonderful Easter and didn't eat too much chocolate, lol and if you are in the West like me are enjoying the last week of the school holidays.  For me this break has gone way too fast.

For my card today I took inspiration from a card that I found online and just had to case it, so very pretty.

I have used some of the amazing Dark Room Door stamps that are currently available at Bizzy Becs Online Store. I used white embossing powder on the French Script it unfortunately hasn't photographed very well and is sitting beneath the stencilling.

Here is a link to all the goodies used for my card.  These are all available via Bizzy Becs on line store.

Distress Ink Pads:        Pumice Stone, Evergreen Bough, Picked Raspberry. Embossing Clear
Darkroom Door:           Butterfly, Garden Greetings, French Script
Memorybox Stencil:    Disperse
Perfect Pearl Mist:       Perfect Pearl
From own stash:          Zing embossing powder White, Strano designs - Ribbon Stiff, Portacraft Rhinestones

There is still time to join us for this months challenge "The Sweetest Thing."

Until next time, happy crafting.
