Box Card

Hi just dropping in to show a Box Card that I made recently.  These have been very popular around the internet and Pinterest, so thought I would like to have a go and make one too!  There are lots of different size box card tutorials out there but this one took my fancy as it folds to fit a standard envelope.  This suited my needs as the card was to be posted.

To embellish my card I have used items that are available to purchase/order from Bizzy Becs store here.

Poppystamp die - Vintage Bird Cage and Nested Bird, flowers ribbon and sentitment.  The patterned paper and cardstock are from my own stash.

Hope you are all having a fabulous week, sadly for me holidays are over and its back to school tomorrow for a new school term.

Until next time, happy crafting.

Christmas In July

Wow!  I am struggling to see where this year has gone, it is flying by so fast, a bit scary actually.  Winter weather looks like it has arrived and the soup pot has come out of hibernation, perfect for these cold wet nights we have been experiencing.

It is also school holidays here so am going to be enjoying doing some catch up crafting, sadly have one or two unfinished projects to catch up on.

Being July also means it is also a new challenge at Bizzy Becs.  This months theme is "Anything Goes" and we have a fabulous prize for the winner a gorgeous new stamp in store "Shelby" by CC Designs, kindly donated by Bec.

For my card I decided to make a Christmas Card using a very yummy die from Memory Box  called "Glowing Candles". This is then nestled onto two Spellbinder cut outs "Decorative Labels 8 and  Labels 8)

The dies and blossoms used together with the digital sentiment are all available via Bizzy Becs online store here.

Also for the month of July there is a 20% off selected items in store, so make sure you check them out and lots of new goodies available for preorder.

Don't forget to drop by and check out the design teams inspiration this month, and then join us for this months challenge with your creations.

Happy crafting

Karen
